  • Idle Mind Wonderings Part II

    • Which Wichita companies will occupy the new Koch suites?
    • Would Gregg find Sasha’s between the knees fake to be funny?
    • Have Gregg and John Higgins developed an amicable relationship as their respective careers have ascended?
    • Why did they cast a 44 year old Richard Basehart as the boy Ishmael in the original Moby Dick? He was two years older than Gregory Peck who played the old Captain Ahab?
    • Will Cleathony be a Knick next year?
    • At what age will Gregg stop coaching?
    • Why doesn’t Shaq wear long sleeves like he did in high school?
    • What will be the title of Gregg’s autobiography?
    • Is it true that Bill Walton’s favorite movie is Up In Smoke?
    • Why is it that Ron has never had a 30 point game?
    • Why does every ugly golfer on the PGA have a beautiful wife but every ugly golfer on the LPGA has an ugly husband?
    • Instead of calling time out against Kentucky, would you have rather Fred spotted Ron open for a three on his left and taken our chances?
    • When Big Gregg selected Little Greg, did he say to Eric “I’m going to hire Heier because he can take us higher”?
    • Will The Netherlands be part of Shocker nation next year or will tulips be blooming elsewhere?
    • What will be the longest string of MVC Tourney Championships under HCGM?
    • Will Evan be the 3rd or 4th player introduced at next year’s Senior Day post-game celebration?
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

Do others find this thread as interesting as I do?

I wonder where this thread will go?

If it doesn't go anywhere, we can always bring up the other thread.

If Deontae Hawkins had qualified academically here, would we still hate Illinois State?

I suppose if Hawkins signing here prevented Stutz from getting punched between the legs, fans from throwing things at our players, them hiring one of our coaches, their players kicking ours and their coach from picking himself #1, then no :)

Honestly, I'd say Teddy Hawkins has less to do with it than just about everything else. His situation was pretty tame. He basically fell through the cracks for us. I'm not sure he would have wound up here even if Ford had never left.

Because I like to pretend to know things....
              1. Fahnestock, Freddy's, and the Stevens family.
              2. Yes, although that wouldn't stop him from yanking him after doing it....the second time.
              3. Yes, simply because Higgins has demonstrated that he is physically incapable of learning. 3G just knows that yelling at him doesn't really accomplish anything.
              4. Because Hollywood has never been the most literate place, and at that time I believe that the studios were still operating under the star system, which means they owed Basehart a role and Ishmael was open.
              5. For part of the season at least. Hopefully not for all of it.
              6. 59
              7. They keep ripping.
              8. Coach Happy
              9. It's well known that Bill Walton's favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz, which he watches while listening to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon"
              10. Because Fred hasn't told him he could yet.
              11. $
              12. No. I'll take the Havlicek play into Fred for the win every day and twice on Sundays.
              13. No, but reading that, he'll wish that he had.
              14. The world is already Shocker Nation.
              15. 4
              16. He'll be 3rd, because Ron won't dare go after him, and Evan won't dare let anyone but Fred be last.

              Done and done.

I was skeptical about it being any good, until my buddy had a coupon and bought one. It's pretty good for gas station pizza.

I thought Caseys was famous for meth mouthed cashiers.

They do have good pizza though
