Credit to SIU, this team is something like 26-27 youngest team in D-I and start 2 frosh & 2 sophs. They have a high ceiling.

Zach came on strong in the second half. We'll need that this weekend and through the tourney.

Hopefully, his 2nd half play will give him the confidence that he can play aggressively at this level. He really did look good attacking the basket in the 2nd half.

Zach also plays pretty solid defense. With his length and athleticism couple with his ability to attack the basket and stretch the defense I would think the sky is the limit for young Mr. Brown.

Fred's been charging into the lane like an out of control bowling ball lately. You can't expect the refs to bail you out of that every time.

The color commentator for the Shocks game today was Rich Zvosec, who I like BTW, was on sports daily this morning. He specifically mentioned the bumping of the guard coming of off high ball screens as one thing the need to clean up if they want to have a better flow in offensive basketball and he was pretty adamant about (although not talking specifically about Fred).
