Unfortunately I think many voters will go with the mindset of
"Take Tuttle off of UNI and what will their record be?"
"Take Fred off of WSU and what will their record be?"
By that mindset, I think Tuttle will get those votes but Fred is definitely the most valuable player in the league in my opinion.
If Most Valuable Player doesn't mean that exact type of logic, what does it mean? I would argue that the player that adds the most wins to their team is the most valuable. If the words in MVP don't mean what they literally mean, then I guess the "best" or "first drafted if you're starting from scratch" award might go to someone else.
