on the cbs sports podcast today they listed MVP as Tuttle, but said Fred was the MIP (Most Important Player) for the MVC and WSU.Comment

Unfortunately I think many voters will go with the mindset of
"Take Tuttle off of UNI and what will their record be?"
"Take Fred off of WSU and what will their record be?"
By that mindset, I think Tuttle will get those votes but Fred is definitely the most valuable player in the league in my opinion.Comment

I think this team would be happier to see Cotton voted 1st team all valley (making what would than be deservedly 3 shockers on the first team) than they would with Fred or Ron being POY but seeing Cotton put on the second team. I can certainly make a case for Fred over Tuttle but it is not an outrageous decision for someone to vote for Seth. However, if anyone other than Alex Harden is POY on the women's side, I will be absolutely outraged.
