Take it easy on the blue hairs. I'm 63 so I probably fit in that group. I belong to the "Cactus Pricks". We're a fan club for the Tucson PDL soccer team FC Tucson. Most of our club are a lot younger than me and stand and cheer the whole game. Sometimes I can only stand 20% of the game and sometimes I can stand for about 80%. It just depends on how my back is doing. I can't remember ever asking anybody in front of me to sit down at a sporting event of any type though. Do what you can. Common sense says to have some consideration of those surrounding you.

This. It is a 2 way street. We should be mindful of people who cant stand the whole game. HOWEVER those that cant stand should also understand those fans that want to and respect them as well. Just as you have a right to sit the whole game. I have a right to stand the whole game...etc.

FWIW i will stand a lot, but i am sure not the entire game. But you can bet i will be loud and perhaps obnoxious the ENTIRE time. You can be loud whether sitting or standing. Those that sit arround me in 118 are used to it lol.

If the Shocker crowd at the men's game is as pumped up as the 2,800 and change that showed up for the Women's game against Drake last night then I don't think anyone will be complaining. One of the most energetic crowds for WBB in a long time (not counting the Schoolhouse Scream games).
