For instance, Duke is currently behind a team significantly worse than ISUb at the half. They may not (probably won't) lose, but you don't always get to roll out 25 point road wins, even against crappy teams.

Looks like the Valley Champ will win by at least 6 games over the 3rd place team with the 2nd place finsiher only 1 game back.

Maybe WSU and UNI should get a double-bye in the Valley Touranment this year.

True, any win really doesn't need a silver lining. However, I was really referring to a silver lining to Ron's play tonight and not the game although I suppose I wasn't very clear about that.

However, I don't believe that the final score of this game reflects how close the game was or the quality of play.

Coach Marshall said it himself in the post-game show. If we shoot like this Saturday the outcome will probably be different.

Don't fall into this habit. Remember the days when we weren't just "not dominant," but instead the seasons when our poor announcers never got to call a road win all year. This is the kind of year we could only dream of back then.

You can count on one hand the number of teams in the entire Shocker history who have a better body of work than this team at this point in the season. This is not just good or pretty good, this is unbelievably awesome. Folks should celebrate each one of these wins to the max.

Also: We just locked up bare minimum a two loss season in conference.

We'll lose no more than two games in conference for just the third time in Marshall's run here, and the third time ... in how long? Since at least the 80s.

Awesome accomplishment. Winning on the road in this conference has been such a miserable grind for so long, it's amazing how fast Marshall's been able to turn it into an afterthought.

So far this season, in my experience and in my opinion only, to date, this season is about tied with 2 others for the 2nd best season in my lifetime.

Celebrate and bask in the awesomeness that this program is right now, and not only in their success, but in the CLASS that they show night in and night out.

48-10 on the road, true road games over the last 5 years. That is just unbelivable. The game tonight was a war. Both teams were playing great defense, ISU never let up on the defensive end even when we got up 13, they deserve alot of credit. But we have a guy named Fred VanFleet and he took over the game in the second half along with Mr. Carter. Tekele had a nice game despite struggling from 3. Thought Kelly did well on the defensive end and grabbed a few boards, and Shack had some good offensive moments. Ron might have had his worst game of his life on the offensive end but he had 7 boards and played great defense. Tough to win on the road but we got it done, sets us up for quite a Saturday.

They are saving them up for UNI!!! Mr. Baker and FVV were leading the cheers for the Tree's Seniors. As always, our Program is a class act and this makes me a very proud forevershockerfan.

When games are on the line, FVV is totally focused, primed, ready, and able to make a big shot, a steal, dagger makes, and throws while he keeps his own man he is guarding in check.
