Because the program is not doing good enough to warrant that kind of support. We're only #13 in the country and getting ready to advance to our 4th straight NCAA Tournament. Cut em some slack until we lament ourselves with Top 3 rankings on a weekly basis.

Game was kinda yucky, almost a carbon copy of the game in Evansville. Pretty stout defense playing on both ends of the floor, with the better team leading the whole way and never was in doubt. The amount of layups missed today was incredible. Tack that on with the horrible free throw shooting and really this could have been a 30 point beatdown with a good 2 to 3 minutes of the JR Simon Show.

Carter was extremely soft today. Not really a good look for him.

The crowd sucked. It's becoming the norm. Just too used to success I guess.

In regards to the crowd, again, those 3 point signs sucked. They are so garbage. Never any noise after a big 3 when those things are there. Just people grabbing the stupid ass, uncreative signs and holding them up for everyone to see. But keep putting them out there WSU so you can make the 10 cents a pop on em.

Our student section is the worst in all of America. They sit down at timeouts. They have zero organization. They aren't clever. They're boring. They stand there. They occasionally wave their hands and make noise at times. Oh, and a lot of em don't show up to games. Great look for Marshall and a Top 15 program. I'm sure the players dig it too. In the second to last home game of the season. I'm sure the ESPN cameras will wake everybody up next week with an important game on the line, but wow. The lack of organization and creativity is just pathetic.

Nice win. Need to bury the Sycs Wednesday night. That isn't a gimme.

Our student section needs a few traditions other than the "W" the responses to the introduction of the lineups and the war chant.

That's pretty much all we've got.

Some good from last night:

Kelly got a put-back rebound dunk again. It's been awhile. He finished with 6 and 5 and he didn't try to dribble a fast break down court. He's learning.

Baker and VanVleet can carry us when the rest of the team is struggling.

Wessel has shown that he can be more than just a hustle player.

Zach Brown is no longer concussed. Freshman Corey Henderson to freshman Zach Brown for the beautiful fast break ally-oop!

Cotton shut down DJB. He had 8 points on ten shots.

We held one of the best offenses in the country (statistically) to 14 points in the first half.

FVV and RB didn't get those rebounds by accident. Our bigs cleared the paint and allowed them to get inside and clear the board.

The problem is I imagine that most of the tickets to this game were given to people interested in only going (or selling) to the uni game...

One thing that impressed me yesterday was how vocal Mock was for them. I could hear him calling out screens from row 27. Other than that, it was a ho-hum game. Shox win, in convincing fashion. Wednesday wont be easy, but every time I've said that the boys have made it look routine. Hopefully Carter and Morris have better games than yesterday.

The student section is only 10% of the total crowd. I have been watching the people in my section this season and 90% of them just
sit and watch the game showing no emotion. The clapping to start the game till the opponent scores is a joke. It's time to admit it folks
this is an older crowd that gets annoyed when people around them stand up and yell and shout. It just isn't going to be the way it was
back in the Smithson era.

I'm curious what stats you are referring to.

KenPom ranks Evansville's offensive efficiency at 168th in D1.
ESPN has Evansville 113th in points/game.
