  • I only saw the dress sign...from that perspecrtive rather disappointing considering the creative work that went into it. I was really hoping to catch the Creepy Rob Lowe sign.

    • I think after yesterday's performance, we need a new sign:

      Shocker Nation Loves Bush!

      • The Wichita Eagle has a photo gallery of about 20 signs at http://www.kansas.com/sports/article11653388.html

        • The security folks would not allow me to bring the FredEx poster into the arena because it would advertise FedEx. Really?

          • WSU AD is the fun police and crowd killers.

They need to focus more on providing a fun and great atmosphere then promotions. That will bring in more $$$$, then any washing machine, musical chairs, or "Where's Wu" game ever could.

My guess is that any rules concerning signs were set by ESPN. ESPN didn't want anybody getting free advertising, satirical or not.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

I didn't see the Ted Van Vleet one either.

State Farm is one of their main sponsors.

My buddy and I did get on GameDay, throughout, but mostly far away. I cut out the image and put it on a black poster board, and my buddy held a yellow sign that says "Need an Assist?!"
Yeah, I was surprised they didn't want to jump on the essentially free advertising for StateFarm.

I was there, I just must have missed it.

I didn't see several other ones posted on here either.

Speaking of the fun police, although sort of off topic, I noticed when watching a couple K state games recently that they show replays in the arena of all controversial plays. Why can't they do that at WSU games? What do they think is going to happen if they do?

Maybe they think we would act like KSU fans. Isn't that reason enough?

Because officials are crybabies and might give us a technical for booing their ineptitude.

                            • I believe this had its own discussion a couple of years back. Wasn't it because the MoValley guidelines restrict replays of controversial plays?

                              • My favorite sign of the day was one that popped up in the student section with about two minutes to go in the game. It said "UNI, if you can read this, it's too late."
