No doubt about Tekele's toughness. That was one hell of a shot to the jaw he took from Anthony Beane on Tuesday. I'm not sure if he was out cold for a few seconds or not. I was quite concerned about his availability until he re-entered the game.

Maurice Evans as a 6'5" wideout would be a tough matchup.

Jumpy could actually go the other way and hoop pretty good too . . . played against him in intramurals back in the day. When he drove the lane, it was like Moses parting the Red Sea - good god, he was a load!

This is what actually inspired me to start this thread. Was rewatching the game last night on ESPN3 and seeing Tekele take that hit got me thinking about him as a fb player. I agree with the other posters, he'd be a stud safety.

Tekele once said in an interview that he didn't play high school football because he doesn't like getting hit. He's a teddy bear in a linebacker's body.

At a practice a couple of months ago the subject of Tekele playing football was brought to Coach Marshalls attention. He thinks he might have a legit shot at the NFL but that it could take a couple of years. In addition Coach looked around the practice and stated he could field a pretty good football team with his guys and maybe a couple of others on the track and baseball teams. Might even be the 2nd best football team in the state.
Our golf team is already the 2nd best football team in the state!

Pitt St and FHSU say hello ^^^^
One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

If you were the opposing team , you didn't want to see Roland coming on the court....... He could quickly make an impact......

But , I'm going with Ted Dean ......
