Enter "Tekele who will produce an ace-high royal flush defensive stand as usual Cotton" and Shaq "I can score 17 in 15 minutes Morris" and we will win with due-diligence. This game is played this Sunday, Feb. 22nd. 11+11=22 so we win by 11 with the bright lights shining.

We've now played 5 straight games at 60+ possessions after spending most of the year in the mid-high 50s. I think the pace will continue to quicken down the stretch- we are getting the boys into form for the tournament and the scout on us will struggle since we are not using the same plan we were in January.

I would have no problem if Balentine puts up 24 like he did last night at home in the win over Drake if the rest of the Aces only contribute 37 points. I don't think 61 points will get it done for the Aces at Koch Arena.

Hopefully, Zach Brown will be cleared to play Sunday although I am not sure how effective he can be after missing all this time.

I will be relieved when this one is finalized as a W. Bad memories of Evansville in the past combined with the roller coaster nature of this year's performances makes me a bit nervous about Evansville sneaking out of Koch with a win.

Oops, Mockevicius! That's what I get for finding the spelling on DJ Balentine's blog on the Aces' website.

Balentine will NOT go for 24 with TC in his grill!

He's scored more than 24 on Cotton twice in the last 4 games (since he became the new Colt Ryan), scoring 26 and 31 points. In the 4 games, he is also almost exactly at his average shooting percentages.

Now, his team is also 0-4 over that time with an average MoL of 18. I firmly believe that figuring out how to beat Evansville's game was Coach Jans' parting gift to the Shox.
