Isn't the new owner, Tom Lassley, the same jagoff that was fired from Emmerson's a few months ago because he wouldn't let Shocker fans watch their game. Sounds like we need to boycott this place now too.

Also anyone who is from the West side knows that building has been dying a slow death. It's been tried almost 5 times in about the last 5-10 years. Unless you're getting the building for free, it's a bad idea.

Also anyone who is from the West side knows that building has been dying a slow death. It's been tried almost 5 times in about the last 5-10 years. Unless you're getting the building for free, it's a bad idea.

I don't know if it's all the fault of the building. The guy who owned both Players and Brooklyn's was a creep who had a terrible reputation. Players actually did well for quite a while, but I was told that things went downhill when his long time manager left and he took over the day to day operations. He was abusive to customers and would stand around leering at women all night. There are some pretty terrible stories about him floating around.

Just FYI we went to Emerson's on the last away game that was on Cox TV. The place was full of WSU fans and the K- state game came on one hour later, they changed just two or three TV'S to the K-state game. I think they get it now. Tom Lassley must have a boat load of money because this concept of his sucks big time.

They still changed the majority of the TVs in a bar in Wichita to a K-State game. It also sounds like according to your description they changed the channel for the end of the Wichita State game to watch the beginning of the K-State game.

To me, that doesn't mean "they get it now."

That was an interesting choice of word in roses since the mens bathroom out east was probably the worst bathroom I have been in since EVER. And I only had to pee.
