I remember the last time we had travel woes. First Conference game -- right after a loss in Hawaii -- didn't get out the day before like planned because of plane problems -- got there the morning of the game -- the timing of all their pre-game routines were thrown off schedule -- had a terrible time for three-quarters of the game with a team that was the bottom feeder of the Valley at the time. Let's hope the Shocks arrived with time to spare and get to relax a little. Do not want to see a repeat of the first three-quarters of that first Drake game.

I was thinking the same thing, but the big difference is the "right after a loss in Hawaii". If you recall we also had travel issues getting to Hawaii. Coming off a win at Illinois State is a little different scenario travel-wise. My bigger concern is Fred's ankle. I expect him to play and be a reasonable facsimile of himself but we will see.

Yeah, I know what you're saying but in this specific instance I liked that he directed right at Lynch. That's just me. I'm not all that mature for 62.

Shocks by a dozen 72-60. Hoping to get a few more points from the bench tomorrow, and maybe Evan can build on his 3pt. shooting from the last game. Would like to see more of the Carter-Morris combo, moving forward I think this will be an important tandem in the post season. Also looking forward to seeing Zach Brown back in action. Go Shocks!

Has there been an update on Zach Brown's status? Last I saw he was targeting the Evansville game this Sunday for a return tot he line up.

Agreed, I didn't even care about the T because that's the type of play that builds confidence in a young player.

In one of Suellentrope's pieces he said Brown is making progress and he is hoping to return vs Evansville.

I don't mind Mike and Bob commenting on the KU loss, Ellis being a local talent and all. What chaps my ass is letting a KU tool waste time with further Beaker nonsense. Don't they screen these calls?

Someone should just call in and say "yeah, uh, I noticed that KU lost but they are still better than WSU because they lost to a ranked team. Can you please touch on the fact that KU is better than WSU for a little bit and elaborate on that some more? I'll hang up and listen.
