Did anyone call in to ask about the elephant in the room? Certainly there were Twitter questions, but those are easy to ignore. Since they don't record the calls, I can't believe no one asked, unless maybe they were told before going on air they'd be cut off if they brought it up.

No one asked about it. I was a little surprised MK did not say at the beginning of the show that 3G and ADES had issued their public statement on the matter and that nothing further would forthcoming at this point and 3G would not respond to any questions about the matter in this forum.

No doubt most listeners intuitively kind of understood that would be the case so why put 3G on the spot.

Not sure what WSU and the athletic department can really say publicly about this matter considering the sensitivity to privacy issues that pervades modern society.

Yeah. But it could've been a "teaching" opportunity..."In our program, discipline is handled via the assistant coaches and myself, discussing the impact of the action on the team, the player, etc... " Don't have to mention anyone's name. We would have learned more about what to expect without breaking privacy issues.

I was wondering if Ron and Dennis call in like several hours ahead and stay on hold until they can ask their question. I am almost tempted to call first and just say "First time caller, long time listener, no question tonight I just wanted to beat Dennis and Ron as the first caller, I'll hang up and listen."
