I'm guessing what happened is that once this project was announced, UA decided it would be a good advertising/sponsorship opportunity so they approached Showtime with a large check and a stipulation, and Showtime accepted.

Of course, to actually admit that would possibly result in breach of contract, so they use the "multiple factors" BS.

Bruce just said that this is what he heard happened.

Well guess who is a big supporter of Shocker Baseball and supplies the uniforms. I wonder if this bites them back. Oh well.

Under Armor gear is over-priced trash. In the college program and pro sports franchise segment I associate their brand with the leftovers and those with limited budgets. It is the mark of the loser (speaking of teams, not if you have UA gear in the dresser).

They are now only second to Nike in Athletic Apparel sales in the US.

Their growth has been exponential and it would not surprise me to see them continue to take market share and increase their NCAA sponsorships.

I like the look of Nike stuff much better, especially in basketball. That being said, I really love UA's coats and cold gear, keeps you extremely warm. I have some of their golf stuff, too. It well made, lasts a while.

That's precisely what happened. I don't know for a fact, but I'll speculate that the Domer's were behind it. I don't think UA cares that much to do this on their own. But yes, they did essentially buy out this program. Unfortunate especially for us since UA outfits baseball. But ND and their money rules.

So. The way I see it, the girl really wanted to be with us, just because she enjoyed being us.

However, some jealous rich guy felt the need to pay for her services, thus transforming her into a prostitute.

So, the rich guy did us a favor by not letting us interact with a woman, who turns out, happened to he nothing but a prostitute, deep down.

We don't need to be in the company of prostitutes.

Bah! I'm a whore and plenty of people like to hang out with me.

Anyone who's owned UA stock for the last 5 or 6 years certainly doesn't feel like a loser. It would appear the company knows what it's doing.

That sounds a little bit more like what one would expect to find on Showtime anyway.

Yes. But there is a fine line between a whore and a prostitute.

Needless to say, that person was like a KU fan x15. To this day if Notre Dame is on TV (usually in fooball) it's impossible for me to not change the channel or cheer for the team they are playing.
Notre Dame fans are far worse than Kansas fans.

Kansas has had success recently. Notre Dame has only had one truly relevant season since the early 1990s. There likely aren't more than a handful of undergrads at that school who were even alive then.

Everything about Notre Dame is about the past. Which, fine, there's a lot to be proud of there. But 22 years of mediocrity haven't changed their ego about their current status in the slightest.

Northern Iowa fans are bragging it up that WSU lost out on this and they still have their seldom-seen regional show.

                                They're a cute bunch.
