I'm not a huge fan of afternoon games on the weekend, unless by afternoon you mean 5:00 or later. The evening game times on the weekend allow you to make an evening out of it with the misses, or your buds. The afternoon games just kill off the entire middle of your day, which in the winter (as is basketball season) nearly nullifies the whole day from a daylight perspective.
It is supposed to be 62 degrees and sunny - in January, in Kansas - this Sunday, so there are a number of outdoor activities I would actually rather be doing. I can sit on my butt in a well-lit, climate-controlled facility any time of the day/year; I don't have that flexibility with a gaggle of outdoor activities in the dead of winter.
None of this to say I don't love the Shocks, just not a fan of certain game time scheduling - especially when TV exposure is a moot point.
