We will certainly be unified in full support for men’s and women’s basketball.”

So will this opt in be on a sport-by-sport basis as long as it meets any Title IX requirements?

I think his public position on major issues is based on putting forth whatever he thinks WSU wants to hear. Whether on not he can deliver remains to be seen.

That is how I understand his comment. All MVC schools (at least at that point last July) are fully committed fully funding men's and women's basketball programs. It will be up to each school what they do with their other athletic teams.

I'm just gonna start my own little wishful thinking campaign and hope that some kind of dreamish mega conference gets formed of all the angry quasi-major basketball programs who want to compete together in a respected conference.

What $$ amount did the athletic dept decide on for this year?

Creighton's or Wichita State's, Mr. Obvious?

WSU is paying $3612 for on-campus, and $4362 for off-campus, according to a USA Today article on NCAA COA.

CU is paying $3846 across the board, according to an ESPN article on NCAA COA.

Neither team is in the opposite's article, and there's not a lot of source material out there with specifics on this issue.
