TC with a reasonable height adjustment for post play would be a McDs AA. And if Carter or Morris were two inches taller...etc. that's why we have 4 year players. They are just shy of the right height to play in the NBA, but they have all the skills and athleticism.

If you go by this link, Baker is first on the team in defensive win shares (DWS), ahead of VanVleet and Cotton.

For the record, I suck balls and I apologize to the young man. I hope he recovers fully and gets to play out the rest of the season.

Agreed. According to the Evansville board he is expected to be out 3 to 4 weeks. Played quite a bit after he broke his hand so that removes any doubt about his toughness and desire.

He could be back for the closing stretch of games @ WSU, @ UNI and home vs ILS. The Aces could certainly use him for that tough stretch.

Injuries are part of the game but still don't like seeing any of these young athletes sustain an injury.

BTW, @WuDrWu the fact that you called yourself out shows your true character and I mean that as a compliment.

You obviously had him mistaken for Frank Mason.

Definitely a tough break, no pun intended. Suddenly Loyola had SIU sneak up on them, the Aces are also 3-3 with an injured starter, and the Valley is left with WSU, the UNIs, and what looks to be a pretender in Indiana State. Probably best for the Shocks and UNIs to break away, with IllSt trying to battle its way to a reasonably close third on the strength of that superior 1-12 talent (although Warren Nolan currently projects the not-so-Normals at just 9-9 in conference play, with a 100+ RPI rank).

Edit: I just saw PaulS's "Day After" piece with the reference by Marshall to Evansville's "Big E" -- not a bad homemade nickname, Coach (and quite a contrast from the original).

We hammered Seton Hall (RPI 17) pretty well, too. That was a 19 point win that they made look a lot better with a couple late 3's.

I don't mean this at you specifically, but I really wish we as sports fans would be more careful about injuries in general.

I can't count the number of times I've seen legitimately injured players being booed by the fans in basketball and football games in the last few years, and it's becoming awful.

I'd rather give people the benefit of the doubt and hate on them after the game than react in the moment and be horribly wrong.

Glad you're big enough to apologize for it afterward. I know there have been a number of times I've seen opposing fans say similar things about WSU players and not have the integrity to apologize for it after.

Redturd fans fit this category perfectly. They are, by far, the worst.

Just a horrible fanbase all the way around.

                            • Didn't Iowa State fans boo Frank Mason when he went down with cramps on Saturday night?

If you ever watch Euro sports (soccer especially) - for the most part, when Euros get injured they agonize and roll around on the ground like they were shot. Once the ref throws the flag - they are up running around like nothing happened. That's what went thru my mind when I saw Mislav holding his hand.

I hope the young man heals quickly and is able to contribute again this season. He came back in and finished the game with broken hand - he must be a tough sob.
