Kai, if you're unhappy with me for gently tweaking Fever by saying that I have him on Ignore, as in fact I have to my considerable relief for years now (and I don't choose to view his posts individually, either -- what I told fanmas was an exact description of what I do), send me a PM. I agree that it's off-topic, but if this were the worst off-topic diversion we ever see, SN would be far more focused and far more mild-mannered than it currently is. In another month or so, you won't have to worry about me anyway; I'll be giving up the board for Lent. (Ash Wednesday is February 18 this year.)

You and shockerfanmas would do well together. You constantly brag about the people you put on ignore, basically destroying the whole point of the ignore function.

It's so ironic and yet it continues daily, if not weekly. I get amused by it.

I think they are using the wrong term, instead of IGNORE it should be "PLONK"

@WSUwatcher when I make a post inside a thread asking generally that people either stay on topic, stop bickering back and forth incessantly, stop personal attacks, etc. It's because I feel there is more than a few people that have been toeing a line. I also use it as a way to get the word out wide spread rather than have to PM individually around 5-10 people. It's not me trying to be passive aggressive or trying to publicly shame one person without directly calling them out, etc. If I have a specific problem with an individual user, I will PM them. I get enough PM's as it is, I don't want to start a dialog with multiple people for however long they want to keep the PMs going back and forth when I feel a simple post in a thread can curtail the actions that are disrupting the thread.

I'd most likely PM you this rather than reply, but figure the message would be good for people to read if they too think like you did, I was specifically targeting them. If you, or anyone else would like to make a reply about this, please PM me directly rather than reply so we can for real get this thread back to the topic.

Just gonna say I've already owned my part in this and for that I apologize. Now... I can't say the same for others, but the burden is off my chest.

Back to Shaq, of the freshmen, so far to me he is producing the most. I'd say the loud and clear message by HCGM has been received. I'm not sure how many blocks he had last night, but I know he had 1 taken away because of a phantom foul. In fact he may be ready to crack the starting lineup soon

Haven't read entire thread so this might be redundant. Get a lead and rest starters as
much as possible for Saturday's game. Would like to see RK and RN get some low post
touches and opportunities to take it to the rim aggressively. 78-58 and 15-2
