If FVV gets into foul trouble I would love to see Baker, Cotton and Brown at the 1-2-3.
Tall, long and lock down defense. Shox bring their lunch box and hard hat for a workman like victory.

The match ups today will be interesting. If our D. is cranked up and slowing down their 3-point shooting, and we utilize our inside game, I like our chances for a nice win. Thomas and Doyle will be a handful but we have defenders that can contain them to a mild roar.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

My guess is that home court advantage at a Loyola basketball game is virtually non-existent? Except for the ever-so-catchy band of 12 students chanting Baker's name every 30 seconds.

This is one of the few games we'll have a size advantage. I expect Carter to go nuts.

I'll predict new Chief Operating Officer Bob Trogele's alma mater will win by 7 or less.

This will be a much tougher day for us than last year's meeting in Chicago. Like our chances if Zach Brown and Rashard have big games. Fred seems to play well in front of family and friends and I expect no less today. All about the D today so I'll not be surprised if 3G throws a smaller but quicker lineup.

One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

I think you will be sweating a lot of bullets if you have the Shox giving 8.

Just met a scout at the bar here to watch Ron and Fred. He was wearing 2 Miami Heat rings. Said Fred's a leader but needs to shoot better and said there's a place in the league for Ron.

I love, love, love the @Loyola game. I am about to walk out my front door, go for a short 15 minute walk and end up at a Shocker game? Easily the highighlight of my year (bball-wise).

Hope the Shocks have a good showing. If they do, they will win. Nothing is guaranteed, and Loyola is improved, but I see the Shocks winning by 10.

Let's hope my walk home is pleasant too.
