            • I suppose 3G could be leading Coach McDermott by as much as 1.99% (8.49% to 6.50%) or as little as 0.01% (7.50% to 7.49%) assuming they are rounding the % up or down using a traditional 5/4 method.

I'm guessing it's pretty close to a full 1%. Not long after Wookie hit 7%, HCGM made it to 8%. Another way to look at it is that HCGM has gotten about 14% more votes than Wookie over an 8 day voting period with only 5 days left, yes, no?

Sounds right. Since we don't know the raw vote totals that could be 100 votes or a 1,000 votes, although I guess it's all relative.

If my 14% is correct and assuming HCGM's vote totals continue at the same level as over the last 8 days, Wookie's average vote total per day from the last 8 days would have to increase by 35% over the next 5 days to catch us.

Now, let's just all assume I have no idea what I'm talking about (probably true) and UP THOSE VOTE TOTALS!!

This better not be the case or my family and friends have a pretty good chunk of the votes.

Creighton does have a couple of advantages in this. For example, the excitement of finally reaching a Sweet 16 and not having to worry about NCAA Seeding or AP/Coaches Top 25 rankings or winning a conference championship or really anything that has to do with a real basketball team.

                          • That and the fact that they have advanced beyond the second round.
