  • WSU VERSUS BRADLEY PREDICTIONS AND PREGAME DISCUSSIONS

Here's the deal. Many moons ago, a Bradley Coach by the name of Dick Versace had the audacity to start chirping that X-Man's rebounding stats were being padded. You shant make X angry so when we played them at their barn, X had 20 or more rebounds as he did 4 different times versus Bradley. X also had a 43 point game against Bradley in his career. Bradley had a star player named Hersey Hawkins who was a nemesis against us back in the day. Well, lot's of memories but this is not Atlanta, but rather 21st and Hillside where being brave is just not enough to beat our beloved Shocks.

I predict that this will be our best played home game yet. Led by Baker's 22 points we will win by 22. This will be our coming out game to get us revved up in building our depth and team improvement. FVV will have 11 points with 7 assists. Shaq will score 11 also as Carter grabs 11 rebounds. These predictions are not meant to belittle Bradley. This will just be our night and it will be fun. Sleep well tonight Shocker fans.

Land of the free--throw making Shocks--79 (and we will make 79% or more of them that night)

Not the home of the Braves---------------57
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Go Shox! Beat the Braves, or Gargoyles, or whoever their mascot is this season.

I believe there will be opportunity for lots of freshman mistakes. I don't mean that in a bad way, I see a high ceiling for all our young kids. But they are freshmen, and they will make mistakes in the substantial minutes they all receive. Learning opportunities, for those that wish to be nicer about it. Shox get up big and it dwindles a bit as the starters get a bit of a rest.

Really, whatever the vegas spread is -6 seems to be the trend lately....

Mostly, I just want to get up big early and let the bench get serious minutes. Ron, Fred and Tekele could use a little breather with 3 out of the next 4 being road games against non-Thursday night teams (@ Loyola, vs. SIU, @ UE, @ Missouri State).

We need to use games like this to mix the young dudes into the rotation and bridge the trust gap between them and the veterans.

Yes, rest our key players as much as possible. Would like GM to give a best rebounder award
each game. 84-62 you KNOW who

I think we'll have a 2-3 basket lead most of the game and push the lead out toward the end due to free throws. Bradley has scored in the 60's lately, so I think that trend will continue. I missed the WSU score on the last game, so maybe I'll hit it this time using the same score - 75-62 Shox.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Interesting. Defense seems pretty stout. KenPom also likes their defense, even adjusted for their 310 NCSOS, the AdjD is at 98.
