Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Wow never had that problem. Had some that said the gear was not locked but never had a problem like that. But I guess that is better than having a pre mature retraction:)

This has happened to me twice while traveling over the years. Nothing to see here, move along.

I always like it better when the gear fails to retract vs. fails to extend. Gear not coming up is an easy emergency. Leave them down and land. Glad everyone is safe. However, I'm sure it startled the fellas. No one likes to hear "We're returning to the field due to a mechanical malfunction". Let us hope that Fly Angry translates to Play Angry tomorrow!

When your not practicing, someone somewhere is and when you meet him...he'll beat you.

BTW, I bet the pilot could make his free throws. ;) Just kidding. Go Shocks!

Sure glad he didn't pitch the thing out of bounds at the most critical juncture in the proceedings.

Anytime a plane carrying Wichita State athletes has a problem, there is reason for concern and interest.

If they left at 8:30, that was an early start to the day. Probably not for FVV and Baker, who have run the stadium and shot 500 jumpers by then, but for some of the new guys (which is most of the team). Let's hope they don't Play Sleepy tonight.

Theoretically, if we couldn't reach Des Moines today for reasons not an act of God, would we forfeit or reschedule?

You won't often hear about gear failing to extend (in commercial aircraft, anyway), as there are backup systems designed to blow the gear down in the event of a hydraulic failure.

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

That only works if Harrison Ford is on the plane.

Are they there yet? One of you Netters who knows how to track flights have that info? You know how moms worry.
