I'm glad he chose WSU, but when his transfer from KU was announced, Drake was the first place I thought he could go and be a star.

      That's great news about Conner.
We're also allowing 38.3% from beyond the arc, #303 in the country. That's our worst since 2008, Marshall's first year.
I'd be happier to hear that he was smothered from 3.
Dominance is a state of mind.

        Hi Coach,

I noticed you aren't going to be 35-0 this season. Since I'm perfect in everything I do, and I've also been named National Best at What I Do for a living, I thought I would discuss this failure with you, you know, since you have a call in show and everything.

1)Why aren't you going to be 35-0? (notice "you" vs "we")
        2)What has gone wrong?
3)How do you intend to fix it? (Insert caller's snappy hints here)(Again notice "you" vs "we")
4)Can we assume we'll return to 'normal' (FYI normal=35-0) next season? (The "we" returns here)
5)Since I'm not interested in answering any of your questions and being eviscerated on air, I'll hang up and listen off air.

This reminds me of that time the locker room show became a joke because the assistant coaches stopped going :)

The show in its current format needs to die a quick violent death. The ability for any drunk, half brained know it all to portray himself to the coach and everyone else as a valid representative of our fan base is flat out tragic.

It's the "Coach's Show". The last last thing I want to hear are the ramblings of someone in a LaZBoy, on a landline.

If you won't invest in a call screener than just use submitted questions.

What is up with that? I really don't understand it given our back court and its defensive ability.

Our guards are playing off of them a little because our bigs don't defend the basket well.

I remember watching the Coaches show on television when questions from fans were not a part of it. They were able to do some interviews based around the offense and the coach would point out strategies that they were using. I even remember the Gary Thompson show when it was on weekly from 6:20-6:30 right after the sports. Mike could conduct the interview very well without very many submitted questions and television may be able to add some quality too if done weekly instead of the Shocker Report who nobody watches (at least I bet no one admits to it).

I think the caller questions could be eliminated also. Even on the pre game shows the callers ask all sort of stupid questions. "Mike-I noticed when FVV ties his left shoe first instead of his right shoe after pre game warm ups that he shoots 0.0005% less from the field. Care to comment and I'll listen off air"

On a different note, does anyone know why Bob left Sports Daily so suddenly? I wasn't his biggest fan, but the show down right sucks since it is only Bruce. Bruce is fine when he has a second individual, but the show is weak when it is only him.

Hold on, shizzle -- maybe they do use a call screener. Can you imagine the guys who don't make it on the air if they do?

Meanwhile, I still like Play Cranky, which is what they're likely to be Wednesday after flying up the day of the game. Have to admit it doesn't sound as fierce as Play Angry, though.
