not always pretty, but we just hate to lose. The freshmen bailed us out. Cotton, Carter, Baker off night but we found a way, and I think are freshmen are growing before our eyes. Lets give Hawaii some credit, they can shoot the ball, they spread the court and can hit the three. They have some nice wins, and stealing one on there court, I'll take it. Kelly, Brown, came up huge. Rauno had some very good minutes. Still have some work to do but we have some kids that never give up and play with alot of heart...

The problem with Hawaii is that they always struggle in road games, for obvious reasons. I expect them to do well at home, especially if they play that hard, but I'm not sure if they can consistently win on the road enough.

In the 2nd half, I counted 3 times we missed a box-out and Hawaii go the rebounds that were ours. This will not get by 3G and they will deal with shoring that up.

Last thing on that game. Those announcers were seriously some of the worst I'd ever heard. How many Freddies and Ronnies did we hear? I'm surprised they didn't start calling Marshall by Greggie.

Much respect for Hawaii.

The win versus Pitt without their new big makes me understand they could be solid in time. Lot's of 1 on 1 but they would just not go away and kept matching us tit for tat until the bloody end. Mr. Kelly got the big offensive rebound and the game winning shot to save our bacon.
