WSU did not seem to be on his radar. K-State was thought to have the inside track before he went with Duke.
A lot has gone on, since he signed with Duke.

WSU has been to the Final Four, had a 35-1 season, and is currently a Top 15 program.

    KSU?...... Not so much.

Yipes, Stripes, Beechnut Gum! I hope he at least makes a visit this spring... him and Kerry Rosenboom would hit it off immediately.

Well Duke is pretty good as well and he is leaving that program. Clearly he is looking for somewhere he can contribute as his prime consideration. I think he could do that at WSU but he can also do that at KSU where his brother attended and where he already has some relationship with the coaching staff.

One kid transferring to Wichita St. from Kansas and perhaps another transferring from Duke??? Would that not tilt the college basketball world some more. Like someone mentioned earlier...we probably will have an opening for a plug-and-play power forward. I don't think I would be all too surprised to see this guy look in to transferring to the Shockers.

Right, all I am saying is WSU has vastly improved since he was being originally included.

I don't know for sure, but I am guessing Semi went to Duke because it is a better program them KSU (which WSU is right now).

Had Conner and Semi both been high school seniors this year, they would have had a much better chance at landing them.

Duke is also a very strong academic school. He could look to Stanford or the Big 10.

True. I think Indiana and Wisconsin will be on him.

We still have a chance in landing him -- here's why: Coach Marshall hasn't announced he is interested in him. That means that Bruce Weber doesn't have any interest in him anymore, yet. Now unfortunately it's just a matter of hours until Weber logs into Shockernet to see that our fans want him, so KSU WILL contact him shortly. But at least it's not a foregone conclusion at this point.

The B1G has high academic standards, well maybe, except for the school where the 'N' stands for Nowledge.

That school tried to move to Kansas, but the governor stopped it because it would decrease the relative IQ in Kansas and increase the relative IQ in Nebraska.......

FWIW, and that may not be a lot at this point, it was reported on his recruiting thread that Rivals showed offers from Wisconsin, UCLA, Okie State, Northwestern, Nebraska, Mizzou, Marquette and KSU. Also, interest from Clemson, Harvard, Iowa, KU, Oregon, Stanford and Vanderbilt.
