WSU VERSUS DETROIT PREDICTIONS AND PREGAME DISCUSSIONS

These are the kind of games that scare the heck out of me. Talented teams that tend to play to the level of their competition. Should be 6-2 with competitive losses to @Oregon and @Michigan (no shame there). They will be plenty athletic. They've had a week to get ready and I have a feeling the transfer from CU is laying in wait for us. Just a hunch. Also wouldn't surprise me to see Onwenu play. They could have 3 new bodies for this game that we essentially can't scout.
I don't know...obviously we're the better team and we have a huge coaching advantage (as we almost always do) but count me in the concerned category. Fortunately, coaching, defense and consistency usually have a large impact on who wins. We have great coaching, play defense and RARELY take plays off. Watch the game closely for that last part. Watch how many times we stroll vs the opponent. It's mind numbing at times.
WSU scores 70 points and loses rarely. When it does they probably played more than 40 minutes or a team that will play for the national title. In other words, if we get to 70 it's all but certain you can turn out the lights.
The Titans will make a run at some point, and I think they'll end the season being a really good team if they can get healthy, but I'd really like to start fast and let them know they're not the guys in control right off the bat. Take away their excitement and energy and they'll take enough plays off to allow our guys to do what they do....win.
Go Shocks!

In the past 5 Seasons or so, we have been road warriors and one of the best road teams in the Country. We all understand that crazy things not only could happen on the road, they will . We have to defend without fouling too much, rebound like rock stars, and make shots. We have the crew to do it. Don't worry, our National Coach Of the Year will not allow our beloved Shocks to look ahead to Alabama until after this game is over. I really hope we establish a nice lead early on and maintain it for 40 minutes.
