Its just funny how easy it is to win the arguments, too. They are generally arguing what they "want" to be true, but we have a long list of facts on our side.

KU's all time record against the MVC in the NCAA tourney is 6-3. The largest margin of victory was against Saint Louis -19 points in the 1950s. The next largest was 6 against Louisville in 1967. The remaining 7 games were decided by 4 points or less with KU losimg 3 of the last 4.

Unless something happened in the last year or so that has totally slipped past my mind, I looked awhile back to find that KU has not played a regular season game against a Valley opponent since like 2002.

I have a really good memory. I remember KU getting beat by a lot of mid majors in the dance about as often as otherwise. I remember WSU generally making deep runs when given the chance. I wouldn't say KU is less relevant than WSU, but that part was just for fun anyway. Obviously, KU has deep runs. We just need to work on getting there more often and seeing what happens. I have a feeling we will make just as many with Marshall at the helm. It won't be much longer before we start having serious leverage for the debate.

Sure it is! When one team has only lost 2 games in 20 months to a National Champion team and the other loss to a Runner-up National Championship team with BOTH games in MARCH....yep MARCH....one team is definitely more relevant in MARCH!!!!!!

I would argue that it is more than just a little embellishment, but point taken. As long as someone is willing to admit it is an embellishment of some sort, than go ahead and have your fun.

I routinely avoid responding to your noxious posts; but on this one I will comment as your statement "...I know it isn't true now." is as clearly wrong as you import Tyrone's statement to be. "Now" meaning in the present; other than Beaker fans IMO no NCAA BB fan believes the JayHawks are more relevant in March than the Shockers. Just as many of my friends who matriculated at KU acknowledge that in the now the Shockers are clearly the best NCAA BB team in Kansas.

I swear in all my years of lurking around internet message boards, I've never seen anyone go out of their way so often to draw attention to themselves by always playing the contrary opinion. It's like the guy doesn't have a social life and his only means of communicating is to start **** just for the sake of starting ****. It's so transparent and yet so sad at the same time.

And the hilarious part is that he always has to remind himself on here how "right" he is (see post above) as to somehow justify himself and make himself feel better.

No embellishment regards the status of the JayHawks versus the Shockers in the"here and now"; IMO the Shockers are clearly the better team thus more relevant whether the March game is played on a neutral court or at home !
