Memphis is a great program, with a great recent history.

But in the land of High Cotton, old times there are are not forgotten, and the Fresh Baked backcourt will find the way, and the Dutch will make a stand.

Ahhhh yes wufan and shockerfan! See how easy it is for me to forget after all these years. You guys were one of the "originals" fer sure! forevershockerfan....I think my old early day Shockernet name was something with the numbers 5150 in it. I changed it a few years later because we had a TxShocker and BostonWu join and I felt it was important to show that a lot of us out of towners who still followed the Shockers even though we live outside the Wichita metro area are still BIG-TIME FANS!!!!!!! Hence AZ Shocker. :)

              Plus several CC transfers.

That said, our football team is 6-3 (4-1) and in battle for a conference title right now, so as a fan base, we're a little distracted.
How many stars does Josh Pastner get? :smile-new:

I have never understood why some people put so much emphasis on an exhibition game. So Memphis lost to a.. what.. D2, D3 team? They aren't the first D1 team to do it, won't be the last. Other strong D1 teams have lost exhibitions to inferior teams and went on to have a fine season. I think Memphis will be just fine, but not by Tuesday. If WSU plays like they did against New Mexico St., I say we win this game by double digits.

Also, ShockerFever, I agree with you about college football. Don't get me started on the BCS and what a joke it was. And if Florida St. wins out this season, I will never, ever watch another college football game again. Half their team should be suspended.

If we go undefeated against the AAC this season, should we get their conference trophy to?

We won the SEC regular season. Doesn't that give us a 20 year qualifying exemption to the ncaas.

line opens at WSU -4.5, Vegas is usually pretty good. I don't see it, thought it would be double that, but those guys live in a lot nicer houses than i do.

My guess they don't want money on us in a bad way.

Definitely an appealing line although I do expect an ugly slugfest.

No, but we automatically get a BCS playoff berth! I guess Fred better start working on his QB skills.
