    Creighton returns a lineup of:
    Chatman - 8.1 points
    Brooks - 6.5 points
    Artino - 5.5 points
    Dongman - 3.2 points
    Hanson - 2.8 points
    Zierden - 3.2 points
    Groselle - 1.5 points
    Ferranini - 1 point
    and Oginni - 0.6 points

That's a solid 30ish points a game they can take straight to the bank. Plus they have some newcomers, too, and I don't think the mid major east coaches realize that. Coaches can sometimes get hung up on the returning "known quantities" who have already produced at a high level in the past...which are not nearly as telling about how a team will do next year as biased hopes.
Come on guys be realistic, someone is bound to flirt with 10 points in a game.

If nothing else, every Creighton fan is bound to flirt with 10 pints in a game.

Yes 9th in the coaches poll for the big easy. Man this is going to be a great year living in the heart of BJ country.

The Big East annually gets around 8 teams in the tournament every year. Creighton being 9th would put them on the bubble.

The New Big East gets 8 teams each year? Ha Ha. Not even close. They've only been around for 1-2 years. How many did they get in last year? 4-5 at most and I didn't even look it up. Are you a closet Creighton fan? :)

Creighton is the new UNI of the mid major east? They will always be on the bubble in their own minds. Actually, since DePaul is the only team in that entire conference worse than Creighton, and we have such a longstanding personal relationship with DePaul, why don't we just trade UNI to the mid major east for DePaul? That would put their entire conference squarely onto the bubble permanently and the MVC could shore up the rest that coveted Chicago market and take us further toward our goal of becoming the Illindiana Moral Victory Conference (IMVC).

                  Meter calibration might be required.

Probably so. My bad. in the Old Big East, 8 would probably be correct.

                      44. Team that will decline the most: Creighton, which won 27 games last season thanks to the brilliance of national player of the year Doug McDermott and the outside shooting of Ethan Wragge, Grant Gibbs, Jahenns Manigat and others. For Creighton to avoid taking a huge step backward this season, the Bluejays will have to develop a new offensive identity.

I be honest I hadn't thought once about CU until the CF situation. They are just not on my radar anymore.

I find it amusing as hell that during their greatest season ever, they still only won 27 games. Haven't we averaged 29 wins a year for the last 5 seasons. And only one of those was less than 27.
