I think we are over the hump, and have been ever since we won the NIT. Of course making the Final Four was big time Huge but I think It was started by winning that NIT and the quality of teams we beat. Also Marshall and staff know how to recruite and develope players. I think alot of people feel Marshall will bail but I'm not in that camp. Didn't work for Folgler or Turgeon, sometimes the grass isn't always greener somewhere else. Marshall and the Shockers are the Big thing in this city and he has seen that we can get to the Big Dance and have a shot at a Final Four and who knows, perhaps win it all...why not. Winning and being on the National stage makes getting quality players easier to get and we are now seeing that. The thing we need is the Valley teams to take it up a notch, and perhaps with WSU showing the way some otheirs will follow. I still think Northern Iowa with all their starters back will be a team to watch out for, we need them to have a good non-con. showing, we need SIU and Indiana St. to get more consistant, and I feel Missouri State will be a team to reckon with, they were very young last year....We have a very good non-conferance schedual this year and I think that it will only get better...
