The Sanford Pentagon is excited to host the ESPN nationally televised game between Wichita State University Shockers and the University of Memphis Tigers. Many of you most likely have never heard of the Sanford Pentagon and we are hopeful that you take the opportunity to attend the game here in Sioux Falls, SD on November 18th. To help generate some excitement we're going to offer some Pentagon trivia questions to the fans of WSU and will give away 2 free game tickets to the game. First Question:
The Sanford Pentagon has a throwback old school theme to the Heritage Court Arena. One of our walkways walls down to the arena area has a mural that honors eight former/current College or NBA coaches. The first person to email with the names of the coaches on the wall will win two free tickets.

Okay, where were you a month ago? I was actually in Sioux Falls and drove by the arena (impressive new building, by the way), which appeared, at least then, to be still having work done. If I had known I could win tickets, I'd have tried to go inside and get the answers to your question.

One of our Pentagon staff members has a son/daughter who is a former WSU athlete. For two tickets to the WSU - Memphis game name the former WSU Athlete and the sport they played while at WSU.

Unfortunately you were not at the Sanford Pentagon which is located a few miles further north. The new Premier Center just recently opened up to the public this week, however the Sanford Pentagon has been open since September 2014. We're hopeful that you are able to make it back to Sioux Falls for the WSU-Memphis game in November.

Whoa, a 12K arena for a city with a metro almost exactly the same size as Topeka. That's pretty aggressive.

Looks like it is going to be a nice place. Nice to see a balanced, symmetrical design with traditional suites on the interior layout. Our community - in its grand attempt at being ground-breaking - just built an unsymmetrical arena that looks ridiculous from an interior perspective. We have 2 ends and one long side that look fairly traditional with 2 concourses (but no suites so lots of ugly concrete between the levels), with the other long side looking like a cheap steel outbuilding stuck inside of an arena, all covered by a very low and sloping roof. It is an architectural abortion. It required a public vote for funding - something I was excited to say yes to at the time, but today would vote down based on the end product.

And I'm certainly not an east side "snob." I just find it the most tolerable place to live, shop, and eat in a generally unremarkable town (excluding our fair University).

New Market is pretty darn cool - as is any shopping development anchored by a Walmart.

The Sanford Pentagon has hosted several basketball camps this year that have included 4 current or former NBA players at the camp. For 2 free tickets to the WSU-Memphis game name 3 of the NBA players who have worked a Sanford Pentagon camp.
