    • So has there been any ticket bump following the decision of Conner Frankamp? You would think that there were some fans of KU only because Conner was playing for them. Now that Conner will be a Shocker, those people might no longer be KU fans and might be interested in getting some Intrust tickets.

      • Why? He's not playing.

        • Yea, the acceleration between now and gameday is going to be your typical final week rush. Having WSU in the headlines never hurts though.

We sold a lot of tickets today. Things are looking good to sell out before gameday.

Because those fans might want to see what kind of team Conner will play for when he does finally get to play.

                • I know how the arena is selling out tickets - they're selling tickets that have already been sold.

OK, I'm kidding (slightly), but this happened to us with our company seats. We have first right of refusal of our 8 seats, we submitted the order as we always do for all events, and last week we contacted them about the whereabouts for the tickets for Thursday (Eric Church), Friday (TSO) and Saturday (Shocks). They hadn't processed the order. The arena staff scrambled to get us 8 tickets in a comparable location.

Sure looks like a guaranteed sell-out at this point. The sales of seats/day has been roughly 100 for quite a while now, but that looks to have picked up as we near the event, and as supply is dwindling to nothing.

This is great. At this point, it's going to LOOK like a sellout regardless. This is what IBA games should have always been like. Plus, this is a mediocre St. Louis team that isn't what they were last year, and people are still flocking. The IBA game has finally arrived. I believe the competition will continue to get better and better as well.

                      • I wonder if any hold-back tickets still exist? The last couple hundred in the upper corners would not be a seat I would want.

Welp, we already know the IBA opponent for the game in 2015/16.

Not sure we know for sure, but most likely Utah.

                              • Correct. Per Darron Boatright on The Pressbox on KGSO 1410 AM it is Utah.
