If Christopher Walken was around 50 years old he would be ideal to play 3G in his bio-epic. Unfortunately, he is about 20-years North, or is that South, of that mid-century mark.

When Marshall gets that scowl on his face, I could see why someone would say they looked alike. But you would have to look quick because unlike Crean who has a perpetual scowl and frown, GM only fleetingly looks angry.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I apologize if I missed that part but typically when someone reports something and attaches a link to that statement they match up.

In this case, it did not and that is why I said what I said. You were just reporting a rumor and adding an article that did not correspond to the rumor.

                        • 2. Wichita State's success over the last half decade is staggering

Don't call the Shockers a mid-major program ever again. Gregg Marshall's last five years have brought incredible results, especially when you look at things on a year-by-year basis. Wichita State won the 2011 Postseason NIT at Madison Square Garden by pounding Alabama in the title game and then earned a 5-seed in the NCAA Tournament before falling to VCU in a close game in the Round of 64. Then in 2013, the Shockers advanced to the Final Four and then went 35-1 before coming up short against Kentucky in the Round of 32. Now Marshall has this team in the Sweet 16 Thursday against Notre Dame on the heels of an epic win over Kansas on Sunday. That's quite a run for a program that doesn't play in a power five conference.

KU Starters: Jr, So, So, So, Fr
WSU Starters: Sr, Sr, Jr, Jr, Jr

                            WSU Minutes by Upperclassman: 171

                            KU Minutes by Underclassman: 149
                            WSU Minutes by Underclassman: 29

                            KenPom Experience Ranks
WSU: 157th (Right in the middle of D1)
                            KU: 338th (Out of 351 D1 teams)

WSU's bench is young (just like KU's), but WSU has a very veteran starting lineup that plays the majority of the minutes. In the matchup last Sunday, the "veteran team vs young team" storyline was very appropriate.

WSU beat KU. The only storyline that matters.

                              • Doesn't matter if they are Seniors or Freshman if they are leaving after the season. KU and WSU will return about the same amount of talent next season. Anyway, why are we still rehashing the KU game. We smoked them. All I care about is ND at this point. And maybe by 8:30, West Virginia.
