        • Hilarious that Lunardi still has UNI ahead of us, at 15 and 16 respectively. He's obviously using his cute S-curve to make his rankings.

What I don't understand is how he has UNI still rated higher than WSU, even though WSU's resume is better in every category. Oh and they just wiped the floor with them.

          He's a moron.
          Deuces Valley.
          ... No really, deuces.

He is. It sucks that two of the most visible bracketologists out there (Lundardi and Palm) happen to be mediocre and horrible, in that order.

            • I don't think there will be a valid argument for who is better until we meet again. Even
then, if its a 1-5 point game, as I suspect, it won't be a real clear determination.
Regardless of the outcome I will be rooting for them at the dance. Hope we both make
              the sweet 16.

              • The CBS guys felt both WSU and Northern Iowa were both S16 teams. A ton of praise for the game atmosphere last weekend and Fred personally.

                  • KU stays same. Not punished for good short handed loss again.

                    • #12 is pretty solid for having just lost to an NIT team the day after looking bad in a win over a miserable SIU. UNI was a no brainer to pass the Shox. Notre Dame and Maryland had very good weeks and made sense as well. KU passed the Shox, but they actually fell slightly in total points compared to last week after splitting games this week with a pair of top 20 teams.

Iowa State moves up to #13 after a good week, but the Shox still stay ahead by a slim margin.

I'm happy with #12 heading into selection sunday.

EDIT: Just noticed that UNI was a mere 3 pts short of KU for 9th. 1,040 to 1,037. Soooo close. Even so, it is nice to have those 2 games against UNI count as a top 10 opponent!

                        • Happy, happy. Apparently, the voters didn't write off any loss in the Valley other than WSU or UNI as a bad loss and gave credit for Ill St being top 70 RPI. IMO, this is only right as UNI had a loss to IN St who had a much, much worse RPI, regardless of where they finished in the Valley. I'm not sure how to take the "unexpected, not getting the shaft" norm.

Fyi UNI lost to Evansville not Indiana State but it get the point you're trying to make.

                            • Lots of respect with this poll. I see us (uni, wsu) seeded 3-5. That's pretty solid.
