    Doc's response was classic.

I think that is when he put me on his ignore list too. LOL. Good times, although this is one prediction where I wish I had been wrong.
Come on man! You're an adult. Grown men don't need to say "I told you so"

    • We could say grown men don't need to waste time on message boards discussing 20 yr old kids' ability to bounce a ball.

However, we do it because it is fun entertainment. Why so serious Mr. Therapy?

Also, this was less about my prediction and more about people's responses to it. People actually got mad at me for what I said. Doc actually called me an ass and blocked me for it. I think it is funny to bring light to those sort of things once time passes and events play out.

Dude, you're just trying to pick a fight. And nobody cares if you were right anyway. All you are doing is reminding people that you're an ass.

I wonder if this is all stored on the blog.

            ISU doesn't belong in a P5 conference. They're a coat-tail dragger.
It's the Iowa State paradox. They use the Big 12 as their evidence of superiority, but have little in the way of trophies from the Big 12, and when that is brought up, they use the excuse that "It's the Big 12, it's the best conference ever, it's so tough." It's a never ending cycle.

            • I perused the schedule. There's at least 5 high potential NCAA level teams on our schedule.

More years than not, it would be about 8. I'm sure when the schedule was put together a couple years ago, that thought was also in mind. New Mexico State, Memphis, and St. Louis have been NCAA mainstays lately. That's not happening this year. Sounds more like bad luck to me.

I certainly don't understand why anybody would dig out a year's old series of posts to brag about WSU having a perceived less than strong schedule, other than to fill the need of being a narcissistic assmunch.

              • Honestly, I respect ISU. Fred Hoiberg is a hell of a coach. Since he took over the program has seen a turn around in the way that WSU saw one when 3G took over. They probably would of been at least an elite 8 team last year if it wasn't for them losing Niang in the middle of the tourney. That would of been comparable to if we lost Cle in the tourney. I think they have a hell of a team this year. They have a couple head scratching loses, but they have also beat some really good teams. Their PG is great. Last I checked he was leading the country with a 5:1 assist to turnover ration. Niang is a matchup nightmare. Their fans may have big heads, but so do ours. I think it is perfectly acceptable to wonder how good WSU is. We may not have any bad losses, but we basically have no good wins. When Tulsa is your marquee win, it is hard to really gauge a team. And looking at Tulsas schedule it looks like they have yet to play on the road of many of their conferences better teams, so they could easily take a tumble.

I did not brag that WSU's schedule is "less than strong". That fact brings me no joy. I did the exact opposite. I said I'm disappointed.

I hadn't paid much attention to Iowa St., but that Morris kid is Wow. Averaged 30 mpg in his freshman (28) and current sophomore (33) seasons and has a 4.7/1 TO ratio (260 assists/55 turnovers). I'm impressed.

And the kid is 6'2". I watched the ISU vs KU game and was wildly impressed by him.

Was that Oklahoma #10!!! Didn't realize K St was that much of a quality loss.

And Baylor lost both games last week.

What did he have Oklahoma last week? Please don't tell me he jumped Oklahoma to No.10 after getting swept by Kansas State. 8 losses and a Top 10 team? Wow.

Some people are just incredibly dumb and clueless. Just amazing.

It must have a lot to do with the unwillingness to move WSU or UNI up. If you can't put us any higher because of your bias, I guess you have to put ridiculous teams up there. After all, they did play a tougher schedule and quality losses mean more than actual wins. We are well aware of that.

He bumped them all the way from #18. Said reasoning was so many others lost as well. I don't believe very many top 20 teams lost to a team lower than K St.
