Several years back, Double Dribble issued a public challenge to play me one on one. Guess what, he didn't show. Instead he faked an injury. Rather than continually call him out, I elevated my game to the point where he was left in the dust. Now we don't have to play each other for people to know I am simply at a different level.
This is no different than our battle for bragging rights with the chicken turds up the road. All we have to do is continually get ranked higher and go further in the tournament.I invented the cross-over dribble in the early 70'sComment

LOL You're no fun. Personally I am way past caring if we play KU. I never once ever gave a single rat's turd whether we played KSU. One of the reasons this keeps coming up nowadays is that people around the country are starting to ask about it, somewhat to the vexation and embarrassment of the "big boys" who are having to manufacture excuses more often than they used to. So why not poke a little fun at them?Comment

This is how I feel 100%. It's all about the casual jabbing. I don't like to miss opportunities to mention Kyle Weems crying, even though I liked him being in the Valley (wouldn't it be nice if the Bears were still good). I don't like to miss opportunities to mention that Grant Gibbs is in a retirement home, but still playing basketball at Creighton. I definitely don't like to miss opportunities to beat my chest and say #222. That whole thing was like calling your home run by pointing a bat at the fence and then proceeding to strike out. Poking fun at KU is no different. In fact, I like insulting Dan Muller and his ability to recruit the county prison very much. I probably enjoyed saying that Jake Odum was sidelined by foot fungusitis a couple years ago more than I care about playing KU. It's just another thing. Hey, if they don't want to play us, that's okay. There's not much funnier than a fanbase who is SURE they would win every game they played against us, yet the head of their organization doesn't want to play games that will put them at a risk for a costly loss. :)Comment

No complex here. I love it that the kitties are running away from playing us. KU and WSU need to play to see who the best team in Kansas (last two years was definitely us). KU may be arrogant but they probably aren't afraid. KSU knows they are an inferior product and are running away. I think it's funny.Comment
