Help with attachments

I have found a very cool item I would like to post a picture of but need some help. Have gone to Manage attachments, browsed and downloaded from my desktop. It just runs and never loads. It is a jpg 1.70MB. Not real good at this stuff, can anyone help?

If it's somewhere on the web, just right click on it, select copy, and then on Shockernet, just do a Paste. You won't need to do an attachment.

If it's on your computer, you can still have it appear without it being an attachment. You just have to start out by getting from your computer as an attachment. Then do a Preview. On the preview, do your right click on the image and select Copy. You can then go into your Profile and delete the attachment you got from your computer. To show the image, do a Paste. It will be the full size image, not just a small attachment.
