From Matt's fb page:
My dad had surgery today that ended at 2pm to remove part of his skull in the right hemisphere to give his brain room to swell without causing problems. The surgery went well and he is in a medically induced coma right now for anywhere from 3-10 days to try to let his brain relax and have the swelling reduce. We are not out of the woods yet. The next 5 days are extremely critical and he will need heavy prayers to help him through this rough time. Thank you again for the amazing amount of support from friends and family. Even if you think you may not be helping I promise you are...more than you will ever know.
