  • Gregg Marshall Auction

The auction is tonight and I'm sure bidding will be at an all time high. If anyone has an extra ticket or two, PM me.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

Can't you pay at the door? I don't have a ticket yet either.

This will be the first one Debbie and I will miss. We have had our picture taken with WU each year and its pretty neat to see the progression of photo's. DU I know you and your wife will have a great time as will everyone that attends.

Definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of money they bring in. With each year of more success the numbers seem to go up and up and up.

Coach stated tonight that MT's first fund raiser drew only 75 people. Not sure how accurate that is. But we have missed very few of these. And this year is off the charts packed. They are raising tons of cash. Marshall is wearing a Toure Knicks jersey tonight. Pretty funny. Pretty cool.

Plus. First time ever they have 72 teams playing golf Monday. That is gonna be one torn up Wichita Country Club.

            Good showing Shocker fans!

my brother and sister in law went and said it was crazy. He said he went about 4-5 years ago and there was/is no comparison between the years.

saw the murray jersey on marshall too, pretty funny!

If it gets any larger they're going to have to move it out of the practice facility.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of $176K raised in the live auction alone. Lots of awesome items that went for a high price. F4 basketballs were $650-$750, Play Angry neon WU sign went for $950, autographed photos anywhere from $200-$450 depending on how big they were. Collections of framed ticket sets were $500-$600. First time attending the VIP after party and it was getting ramped up at 11pm when we had to go.

There's always some good stuff you won't see anywhere else. The WU Shock woodcarving was really cool.

Was the WSU propeller there this year. I alway mean to bid on the thing and last year it was absent. Oh well there is always Rockin the Round House and The GM Auction next year.

Gone are the days of bringing a couple hundred dollars and expecting to walk out with a piece of Shocker history.

Man how times have changed. Fun times.

$411K before expenses so I would guess the total will be noticeably higher than last year.
