It's going to be even funnier when you add "surging UNO program joins the MVC" to the list of events following:
1. McD graduates and CU becomes toast
2. CU displaces Butler and Seton Hall as the worst team in the MID MAJOR EAST
3. Nebraska keeps winning and becomes popular
4. CU fans finally realize they attended either NU or UNO after all and none of them actually went to CU. (FYI - CU 7,700 students, UNO 15,000 & NU 25,000)
5. Greg McDermott accepts the head coaching position at Loyola
Down somewhere around 10 after several other unfortunate predictable events happen...
10. In 2020, CU is excreted from the MID MAJOR EAST and accepts an invite to join the Horizon League or the SummitLast edited by Dave Stalwart; April 10, 2014, 10:03 AM.

The good news for CU is that with McDermott gone, there will be even fewer people watching next year. You read that correctly and I typed it correctly. That's the GOOD news for Creighton. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

The only thing I ever watched on Fox Sports was college hockey. Less Big East Basketball. More College Hockey.
One other good thing about FS; whenever they did a rundown of Top 25 Basketball teams (during period breaks of college hockey), they always showed footage of WSU 's latest game, which is more than I can say for those chowder heads at ESPN."Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.

Cue the Batman4President signal. :highly_amused:
Looks to me like Creighton needs ESPN and its networks. What does this have to do with needing WSU?

I guess it just seems like they were trending up because people wanted to watch ncaa basketball.
During tournament week espn and espn2 and espnU show a lot of the smaller conference tournament championships which actually pull their March numbers down (conferences like the big sky and MEAC for example just don't draw big numbers).
While March was the best month for FS1 college basketball ratings, without the tournament numbers the rest of their games averaged 123,000 viewers in March. It makes sense more people would tune in in March as the season draws to a close and there are some bigger conference match ups, the 123,000 while being the best month for FS1 is still very pitiful.
