OK I will revert to a sophomoric retort "Thats what his wife says".

So... on a shocker fan board... there seems to be people being "homers"? disrespecting the opponent? I'm shocked! (no pun intended). Seriously though, there is some reasonable people but I don't want to be reasonable I want to share my thoughts. I don't mean any disrespect to Kentucky. They have a fantastic program and excellent history. I do think they have too many one and done players. Shockers 72 - Kentucky 62. Carl Hall wasn't the biggest center... yet he was a beast on the boards against guys like Echinique (or however you spell it). They spent last year practicing against Orupke. Granted there is more length than just one player but I think they will hold their own and adjust where appropriate.

Will Andrew Harrison be involved, though?

The Kentucky point guard seemed to hyperextend his elbow late against Kansas State on Friday, and now his status for Sunday's game is in doubt.

"It's pretty sore. It's day by day. Hopefully I can go tomorrow," Harrison told reporters, according to the Courier-Journal. "We have so much talent on this team. It's not just me. People can take my spot."

The paper reported that Harrison had his elbow wrapped in ice after the game.

        • Here's a good piece from SI on the game, including an analysis of which #1 was most dominant against their #16 opponents using off/def efficiency.

Is that like a sanitation engineer? So either you are not even a Kentucky grad or you are underemployed - which is it?

Interesting comment. Apparently, his coach doesn't share his confidence. Four freshmen averaging 31-32 minutes per game for the season and basically plays 6 to 7 players.

                    • Transition basketball will be key tomorrow.

Keep them out of transition and attack UK in transition when their bigs aren't back and set defensively. I have no doubt that our coaching staff knows this. At the same time though a track meet is exactly what UK wants and I am sure FVV will wisely pick and choose his spots.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Gonna be a big challenge tomorrow. Toughest of the season. Gotta play REALLY well. Hard to doubt a team that is 35-0 though! Go SHOX!
