Last I heard he was promising to play even if he couldn't use his arm.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'

They made a good point on CBS about Kentucky adjusting their lineup to play Randle at the 5 in order to play smaller with a stretch 4 capable of guarding Early on the court. I wonder if that'll happen. Does Calipari gameplan to take away one of our strengths or to exploit our weakness (size in the paint) ? I'm assuming Calipari is arrogant enough to think he doesn't need to change things when they can exploit what they see as an advantage.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'

Oops dunno how that got posted int his board. My bad guys...
Here's my cynical prediction.
Before I say it, I think WSU is a better team.
I think the shockers get jobbed and The NCAA gets what it wants and what was the anterior reason it put Kentucky and Louisville in our bracket, and its to make money off of the two playing in the sweet 16.... Which is close to both schools.

Shockers are a better TEAM. uk has a heck of a talent ceiling.
Keys:
- Shockers battle on the boards
- Wear their post players out with WSU's 3 headed moster
- WSU hitting their free throws and of course limiting TOs
- Shox making some early threes making uk spread their defense
And most importantly imo:
-- WSU frustrating the heck out of uk and getting uk to play selfish one-on-one basketball.
SHOX: 68
Kentucky: 62
Go Shox!!!

I still don't understand all the props for WSU. They beat UT and Bama early in the year. Ok, and??????? It's pretty easy to have great offensive efficiency when you play nothing but cupcakes. What will our length do to their passing lanes? How are they going to guard Julius and WCS? They are not a great 3 point shooting team nor are they an extremely physical team. They are a finesse team and that plays right into our hands. I expect the betting line to have WSU as an underdog or a push at worst.QTSHOCK
