While we are more experienced, execute a better half court offense, more disciplined and fundamentally more sound, there's one thing this team hasn't faced all year, and that is a team who is abnormally tall, long and athletic across the board.

Our backcourt of 5'11, 6,2 and 6,3 players are small compared to Kentucky. We simply have not been exposed to and practiced against tall players who will make us alter our shot to adjust to their height. Those minor adjustments represents only inches, but it will be enough to kill us. Our inside game lacks finesse too. Lufile, Carter and Colbey struggle up close. They're good at slams and easy lay ups but when the time comes for a sweet, smooth inside move and a soft touch on the shot, that is no where to be found.

Our D will keep it close, but our O will struggle. This will be a low scoring affair where Kentucky advances 63 to 51.
Our starting backcourt is 220" tall. MSU's was 226", they scored 50 points on UK. UNC's was 221" and scored 46. Florida was 228" and got 50. USC was 225 and got 49". Our small backcourt players are Kentucky's greatest weakness; height means almost nothing on the perimeter and is incredibly overvalued at every level. Kentucky's guards turn the ball over way too much and are completely undisciplined, and give a ton of open lanes and looks from beyond the arc.

As far as bigs go, only Randle is really a factor on both ends and he is a turnover machine. We don't need our centers to outscore them. Van Vleet, Baker, and Cotton by themselves will likely get the 51 you predict for our team, especially since we've only scored less than 60 ONCE this entire season.

WSU will take advantage of Kentucky's sloppy play.

Let's just get this out of the way right now. Shockers will win and I don't think it will be close, 10 points or more. Key? Team vs Stars.
        I agree with Mark.

        Double-digit win.

Kentucky Guards don't play D. cauley-Stein can protect the rim so put a 250 lb body on him and let baker and early drive it.

Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, it don't matter - Bring them all on.

We are going to the Final Four and will beat Florida in the Championship game.

This is the most talented team we face this year. Should be a tough test. Of course, it's team versus stars (or individual). Hard to predict. Just hope we win

Hell, if we win they'll call it the second greatest upset in history! First, of course, is the Toon Squad and Michael Jordan over the Monstars.

Shox win by at least 10. Kentucky may be tall but they seem to me not the quickest team. I think our defense will be the best they have seen all year. Early will be a match up problem for them and I think our guards will control the tempo. The only way we lose is if we get in foul trouble or one of the big four get hurt. Kentucky looks a little sloppy handling the ball, if they thought K-States defense was good wait till they get a wiff of the Shockers D.

Wasn't Bill Murray on that Toon Squad team?
