signed, sealed, delivered. uk is your 2014 national champions.
wouldn't hardly be the first time that wichita state demonstrated to a rival team how to carry itself. marshall doesn't let his team make faces and grimaces, negative body language etc.. you've seen calipari address that type thing all year, as well he should. marshall stops that from day 1, first practice, slam21. watch wichita state next year, you'll see the same thing. stoic, but with a twist of the knife.

Since beating us, UK has had this "look," but only for maybe 20 minutes total. It comes for a minute or a two at a time, and the last possession of every game. They look unstoppable when that look happens. Everything falls, their defense blocks everything, and the rare misses are dunked. But outside of that, they look like a bunch of freshman, TOs, bad shot attempts, bad defensive rotations. Guess what, they had that look the entire freaking game against us. Whereas Louisville, Michigan and Wisconsin exploited Kentucky's ebbs, we were matching them shot for shot even when they were hot. Kentucky hasn't played nearly as well and is still one short game from their ninth title.
This is going to go down as one of the all time "What If" moments in Wichita State history. We shoot our normal FT percentage, or especially if we shoot like Wisconsin did (19/20 FT), we play for and I believe win the national title. I think Kentucky is going to win Monday because they seem to be the team of destiny, and the game will probably end with Aaron Harrison shooting and making a 3PT shot left of the key, leaving just enough time for Napier to pull up from the left side of the key on his side of the court and shoot an off-balance jumper that clangs off the rim as time expires.Last edited by CBB_Fan; April 6, 2014, 01:32 AM.

next year, hopefully, the shockers will FINALLY hold up their hand and say "stop! you go no further, kentucky, louisville, uconn etc." i suspect that they are going to do that within the next year or two, actually.. like a hot knife through butter. we want levelle moton, wildcat fans.Last edited by another shocker; April 6, 2014, 01:48 AM.

@AndyGlockner: Kentucky had scored 0.96 PPP or less in five of its last eight games before this four-game detonation. #sports
@AndyGlockner: UK has won by 7, 2, 5, 3 and 1 to make the final. Probably beat four teams that *could* have won it all with different drawsKansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!

Hats off to Kentucky (and it could have very well been us) as they have had to beat some of the toughest teams (Wichita, Louisville, Michigan, andWisconsin) in the entire tournament.
I am not normally a Kentucky fan, but they truly deserve to win it all.
As long as we keep knocking on the door, our time will come, no matter how hard the bastard selection committees attempt to stack it against us.
