I'm starting to see Jay Bilas' point. The committee did OK selecting the at-larges but they did a terrible job of seeding the teams and maybe they should turn that part of the work over to basketball people instead of administrators. BTW, goobers like Dick Vitale, Bill Raftery and Doug Gottlieb are not basketball people.

No excuse for a 3-seed to ever get beat as badly as Creighton is getting thumped tonight. Getting beat by a 6-seed is not embarrassing. But getting thumped by 30 us unless you are a 1 vs 16 matchup is.

Creighton showing why they will never be a threat to advance in the tourney. HAVE to have more balance. If you can't play defense or rebound, what happens when your shots don't fall? You get BLOWN OUT on the backup backup channel that is just barely national television by Baylor in the round of 32.

Offense doesn't win championships unless you at least have a top 50 defense to go with it....

This season has been so inconsistent that it's hard to know whether you're getting the good Tennessee, Kentucky, Saint Louis, Baylor, New Mexico, (insert every other team but Arizona, WSU, and Florida). Accurate seedings were virtually impossible this year when the teams are this flaky.

Also, I still think Cle will be a better pro than McDermot....by A LOT. Need proof? Look at how Cle performs against other pro type athletes these past 2 years in the tourney. Compare that to how McDermot handles NBA length and athleticism in the tourney....

McDermott will get drafted higher. But check back in a year or two and I bet I am right
