St. Louis is a glorified NIT team. I'm looking for Randy Burns and Rob Kampman to get some minutes pretty soon here.
Half of the field are glorified NIT teams. They call them at-large teams.

St. Louis, lest we forget, earned a 5 seed, and then managed to win their first tournament game, unlike all the other 5 seeds. Today they are going to lose by 12 to a under-seeded 4 that most are picking to the Final Four. St. Louis has struggled of late, but pretending that their struggles are worse than what 80% of the field has gone through isn't being very fair.

        Insert slow clap here
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

        • Boy I picked Texas to beat Michigan because of their length and for the most part UT has gotten every shot that they have wanted but Michigan does not miss.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Sounds like the start of people's reasoning for picking UK over WSU.

I think both these games are similar. Good solid TEAMS (Mich and WSU) vs good INDIVIDUALS (UT and UK).

              Both results will be similar.

              • Thanks, Dougie. I get it, Fargo's cold. Now stop talking so I can enjoy watching the Bison play.

Give Pitino a week to prepare for an opponent and he'll have a dynamite gameplan.

Same could be said of Marshall. 1-0 in the Sweet 16 :)

If it wasn't for a walk-on last season, that gameplan might have failed.

So wil HCGM. Expect a killer game, so long as we win tomorrow.

UT is a good team. Not as good as U of M but certainly not an individual only team.

I just met they aren't as cohesive as Mich. They obviously have great talent.

Same is true of Marshall. It will be a great game Friday. Take care of business tomorrow and we will see how both teams have progressed from last year. We know you guys are better. We just know that we are different.

Our game with SLU today was ugly, but we move on.

Wish you all the luck against UK. Remember. As per John Calipari: "They ARE college basketball!" And ..... "You don't want to beat them ... you want to BE them."

                              • If Creighton beats Baylor tonight....only two Big-12 teams will remain. Everybody told me the Big-12 was the BEST conference in America this year. I'm sure glad I have my own brain to make that determination. ;)
