  • The Prediction Machine

The Predictalator uses current rosters and strength-of-schedule and pace-adjusted team and player stats, to play, one possession at a time, every game 50,000 times before it's actually played. In ten previous NCAA tournaments, the Predictalated Bracket has accurately chosen the eventual NCAA champion seven of ten times, has finished in the 99th percentile in online bracket challenge games six times and the 90th percentile or better nine times.

Creighton fans are totally unaware there's more than one weekend to this tournament.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

When the simulations are set to 10000, the results don't change that much. If you back the simulations off to like 10 times, it gives more varied results. The Final 4 when running 10 simulations was Florida, Michigan State, Arizona, and Wichita State with Florida beating Wichita State in the finals.

At 100 simulations the Final 4 was Florida, Virginia, Creighton, and Wichita State with Virginia beating Creighton in the finals. Incidentally, Creighton and Wichita State both had 17.0 for their odds, so it could have gone either way.
