Well the Valley's image didn't get any help tonight. Arkansas blows out the Sycamores 91-71 on ESPN.

that was a brutal showing by the #2 team in the league. The WSU haters gonna be hanging their hats on this game.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

At least the announcers said good things about WSU. In spite of the Sycamores poor showing tonight, they are believers!

Yep. twitter is awash in joy over a team we beat three times losing. Logic fail.

WSU beat ISU by 20 @ home. Pigs beat ISU by @ 20 at home.

                Pigs beat Kentucky too.

                WSU is better then Pigs.

                Therefore: WSU > Kentucky

                See! Math rules!

That's why we should show them not to hang their hat on our competition. Time to go win 5 or 6 games in the NCAA tournament.

Arkansas only lost two games at home this year. A 2 point loss (82-84) to #1 ranked Florida and a 4 point loss to rival Missouri. They beat Kentucky at home and at Lexington.

They beat Kentucky on a last second put back by 1 point cause an 18 year old frosh didn't block out the week side. I wouldn't put much weight in comparing all these indirect opponents. No matter how you slice it, it's gonna be a war should they meet.

Note: This very time last year as WSU was making their NCAA tourney run UK's entire starting line were playing high school state tourneys.

I didn't watch the game, but did ISU just play like they didn't really want to be there? I remember in 2010 we had a home NIT game against Nevada and it seemed like the team's spirits were pretty down after making it to the MVC Tourney finals and losing, and it showed. Was it similar to that?

Yes, they played hard the first half, but got tired at the end running the ole Richardson 40 minutes of hell.

Looked to me like after Odum's bad turnover and the bad foul on ISU (don't recall who) with lest then a seconded in the half and put the Pigs at the line, that the Trees just weren't in it anymore.

It's too bad too. I was hoping they could pull of a run similar to WSU's in 2011.

Don't worry Shoxfan11, aside from a few of us on Shockernet and the 7 fans in attendance nobody else watched the game either.

Or as I like to call it, they played like Indiana State. That team has been soft for 3 years. No heart.
