    Yup.

    Yup.

To go into more detail, this obviously isn't a game that was negotiated solely between the two schools, but has a 3rd-party promoter, perhaps ESPN.

We also need to tar and feather Jeffrey Parson for the misinformation about it being in the soon-to-completed arena.

Wisconsin was compensated the dollar amount of a home game last season.

yea I even tweeted at him last night that I was pretty sure it wasn't at their new arena and he just laughed it off by saying two top 20 teams wouldn't play in a 3200 seat arena.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Guy seems like a douche of epic proportions.

We can't be expected to risk injury to our All-Americans on your wet court. Of course, if repairs are not economically feasible for UofM, we'd be more than happy to host you guys for a couple games in our house. And just to make you feel at home, we could probably even find someplace for you hang that banner. You know, cause we're friendly that way.

              • ^ that's nice of you guys!

Since FedExForum is owned by the city and run by the Grizzlies they spend 100k every summer to repaint halls, replace ceiling tiles, update fixtures...stuff like that...but those tiles are REALLY bad about that.

I really want this to be a conference game in the future...you guys would bring a lot to the AAC.

                  We would all like that.

Theoretically, maybe it is replacing a road game instead of a home game.

Most likely this, for both teams.

"So we're taking Wichita State and Memphis to South Dakota, and we're going to sell it out. It's good for everybody concerned. Two of the best non-BCS team in the country at a neutral-site early in the season. It's going to be great."

                          • Looks like its going to be a road trip for me. I can take three more as long as SF and JHFP and KC aren't the other three. I don't want to have to clean up a crime scene like the one in Pulp Fiction.

The more pressing matter is whether Memphis is going to beat Virginia like I have on my bracket. Thoughts?
