We return 3 players that have been in the starting lineup all Season. Carter has started some games and should really step up next Season. We have Wessel who was starting games last Season before his injury and these two players have never lost a game they played in as Shockers. Our incoming recruiting class will be very solid and I doubt we are done yet. Yes, the Shocker beat goes on and moves forward.

We'll have to schedule more games if we want to keep improving our record.

Just my opinion, but I think Darius Carter is going to blow up next year. His role this year as part of the 3-headed monster has been fine, and most importantly it has worked. But, for the minutes played, he's been one of the most productive players on an otherwise all-star team. Can't hold him back or limit him much longer. He's uber-athletic and a damn good basketball player.

Maybe LBJ will come into the ICT with some friends and ball it up with the guys.

Lyndon Baines Johnson? That would completely kick ass.

Most, if not all, of our Juco transfers do extremely well their second year...I see no different for Carter next year. He's a stud.

We will miss the one starter who's not coming back. It's been a long time since we've had to replace an AA player. We will have exactly one front court player with D1 experience. Expect to see Wessel getting lots of minutes at PF.

I'm optimistic about Morris. Other than true Fr, we will have exactly 1 player taller than 6'7" and that will be a reasonably raw 7' JuCo. Something from the recruiting forum needs to come to fruition.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Take a look at Carl Hall's junior year numbers and compare to Darius Carter. Hall averaged 8.4 PPG (57% from the field), 5.0 RPG, and 0.8 BPG in 22 MPG; Carter has gone 8.1 (53%), 4.5 RPG, 0.8 BPG in 18 MPG. Eerily similar. If he can give us 90% of what Hall gave us his senior year he'll be on the MVC first team, and he has the potential to expand his game even more than that.

And recruits? This is Marshall's best recruiting class yet. Bush is the worst of them and he looks like Orukpe with hands and is a top 10 JuCo. Eric Hamilton is a stud. Rashard Kelly is a stud. Zach Brown is a stud. Chris Henderson? Stud. I think we'll pull in another JuCo big man as well.

I think we will be loaded next year, we will still have different 6'8- 6'9 guys, who are stud athletes, but we will definitely miss Cle.

Johnson wasn't the best team player, and he couldn't go to his right at all, but he had pretty good size, right there with Baker and Cotton.

Don't forget about J.R. Simon and Zach Bush as being UNDEFEATED Shocker players.
